PROwellbeingSTATE

PROwellbeingSTATE is the project put forward by the cluster led by BeForPharma to the Puglia Region INNONETWORK, and is already the winner of more than 100 proposals. INNONETWORK is a financing instrument that is part of the SmartPuglia 2020 regional strategy for research and innovation. It is aimed at the realization of collaborative research projects and the creation of public-private technology partnerships able to foster aggregation between existing and newly constituted companies (technological start-ups) on Industrial Research and Experimental Development projects.

The purpose of the PROwellbeingSTATE project is twofold:

First, the development of innovative tools for the diagnosis and therapy of prostate cancer, that have greater sensitivity and specificity, are able to provide a clearer and more accurate diagnostic picture and are open to new therapeutic modalities especially for resistant cases or non-resistant cases that are not responding to the therapies currently used.

Second, the development of innovative tools for (self) monitoring of the pathology and (self) management of the patient, in order to ensure greater effectiveness of secondary prevention tools and improve patients’ quality of life.
